Tanner Score--A sexual maturity rating scale (SMR) used to assess the development of secondary sexual characteristics.
Includes stages for development of pubic hair in both boys and girls, breast development in girls, and genital development in boys.
Rule of II:
stage II--begining of sexual development
- starts at 8 y.o. (4 × II)
- ends at 11 y.o.
由于儿童发育不确定性, 此处可粗略将Tanner II记为两年(到三年), 应用时要结合案例具体情况进行分析
stages after II are separated by 2 years untill stage IV (2 × II)
the end of the scale for organs is stage IV (2 × II), the end of hair growth scale is stage VI (3 × II)
